IT'S STARTS WITH A PICTURE.

As a freelance Director / Cinematographer, my goal is to bring as much craft and artistry to your project within the scope of budget available. 

Prior to shooting, I work with you to help you understand the trade-offs in budgeting your project, walking you through the implications of shooting one camera to another, location costs, talent, wardrobe, styling, hair and makeup, as well as the downstream costs of editing, visual FX, and final delivery.

Before shooting a single frame of video, I spent about 10 years working as professional photographer, shooting high concept portraiture, live music, events and weddings, product images, and fashion/glamour images.  To be successful as a photographer meant I had to understand light, since the essence of any photo is simply light bouncing off a subject.

All of those years of working with lighting in all sorts of conditions informs my decisions as a director and cinematographer.  My goals is always to achieve the most beautifully composed image possible, given the available tools and light.
